We hit broadcast on a Sunday at 3pm (GMT+3) 12th July 2020 and after 5 hours of team bonding and pleading for participation we received 445 responses to our first survey! The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we finally had some real fucking data.

The Mad Porn Scientists was conceptualised right here in what is known as the ‘cam girl capital’ of the world - Bucharest, Romania.
After 5 years on and off in the world of camming as ‘missalexthorn’ on Chatubate. I still found myself frustrated by the preconceived ideas surrounding sex work. Fueled by the conversations/debates I have engaged in over the years as I fought to convince others of my belief that there is a whole lot more to camming than simply large dildos and sad old men, I decided to do something about it.
Starting out by conducting research - bartending to pay the bills, I studied both successful and unsuccessful cam girls in-depth and backed up/developed my theories until I felt that the combination of my advertising & design background and newly developed ideas could be of assistance in what are known as “video-chat studios” in our area.
I then founded a consultancy firm and began to contact studios that I felt were in line with my own morals and ethics in the treatment of the models and had a similar stance regarding the industry as a whole. My first client ended up being a large, well-known studio where I knew I would have access to a large enough base of girls to work with and the support to make a difference.
Fast forward 4 months - many sleepless nights of further research and live experiments. I have worked with countless models on everything from designing their bio’s to the live directing of their shows. I needed a team.
Using the website ‘best jobs’ I set out on a mission to find interesting, intelligent individuals with no experience in the field looking to work on something a little different. The plan was to assign research tasks and cross reference the results with my own findings in an attempt to eliminate my own biases as well as get everyone onto the same page before we could actually start inflicting the change we wanted to see.
A few months later and this is exactly what we are doing.
Unfortunately, one of our largest frustrations is that we are quite simply unable to gather any real data on the preferences of you guys - the viewers. We know what we like, but how do we ask what you want?
One day in the office a joke was made about a particularly frustrating model. “I reckon we could make more money by sticking a webcam in the corner of this room – It’d be more interesting than this”. Two days later we had a Chaturbate, Twitter & Instagram account, as well as survey and website in the making. We hit broadcast on a Sunday at 3pm (GMT+3) 12th July 2020 and after 5 hours of team bonding and pleading for participation we received 445 responses to our first survey! The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we finally had some real fucking data.
We are currently using this information in the training of over 50 models and now here we are again, a little more formally albeit, and in need of your help. We’re asking for it because we are tired of the shitty pornography. We are tired of the preconceived ideas about both the models and the viewers. We are on a mission to create good quality content that is valuable for everyone involved.
We are the mad porn scientists, and we are here because we need your help. :D
